Fresh from Our Farm to Your Home

Our Process

1

Quality Control

Once your plant is pulled from the field, it's inspected each one for pests, signs of disease, and overall health. We ensure that only plants in top condition are prepared for shipping. This attention to detail is part of our commitment to delivering the best quality plants.

2

Prepping

Next we get your plant ready for shipping by topping off the potting mix, giving it a good watering, and wiping off excess soil or debris from the farm so that your plant is in display-ready condition when you receive it.

3

Securing the Soil

We don't want soil to get everywhere when your plant ships, so we shrink-wrap the pot. This helps keep both the rootball and soil in place so that your plant arrives clean and ready for you to enjoy.

4

Staking Your Plant

Next up we insert a bamboo rod into the side of the pot. The rod is cut to the height of the box and keeps the plant in pot in place --- even if the shipper turns the box upside down.

You can remove and compost the bamboo stake or re-use it for other purposes.

5

Boxing

We secure each plant in its box to ensure it fits snugly and won’t move around in shipping. This helps us ensure your plant arrives in perfect condition, ready to thrive in its new home.

6

Shipping

After your plant is all snug and tight in its box, we tape it up (including taping over the hand holes in winter to keep cold air out) and load it on the carrier's climate-controlled truck so it can start the journey to your home, whether you're across the country or just down street.
