Oxeye Daisy Plant Features
A blessing and a curse, oxeye daisy, develops lovely, cheerful white daisy like flowers through the summer and fall. The plants are a snap to grow and look terrific in a mixed border or naturalized in a lawn. However, in some locations, oxeye daisy can become invasive so always remove flower heads before they mature because each flower can spread thousands of seeds. Oxeye daisy grows 18 to 24 inches tall and make excellent cut flowers. The plants prefer a sunny location, but will also grow in partial shade. Butterflies love the nectar-rich blooms. Hardy from zones 4-8.

Oxeye Daisy Growing Instructions
Oxeye daisy will grow practically anywhere. They prefer a rich, well-drained soil, but will thrive almost as well in hot, dry locations. Although they are perennials, oxeye daisies only live a few years so let new plants sprout to keep the flower show going.
