At Costa Farms, we don't just grow plants. We grow people, too. Our partnership with Alfalit International, a Miami-based nonprofit, has opened opportunities for our team through literacy and educational programs, aligning with our core values of attracting, developing, and retaining talent.
Alfalit Program
We have partnered with Alfalit since 2012 and have enriched more than 1,000 employees lives. Through this partnership, we have implemented two primary learning programs.
Literacy & Basic Mathematics
Our Literacy and Basic Mathematics program offers literacy and math to native Spanish and Creole speakers, equipping them with skills crucial for personal and professional growth.
Conversational English
The Conversational English program builds everyday English skills for our team members who are in leadership roles. Team members are taught during the work day as a part of their daily schedule.
Our Volunteers
Alfalit students are taught by other team members who volunteer their time to the program. This has led to a successful program that enriches both teachers and students.
