Honeysuckle Growing Instructions

Plant honeysuckle in a sunny location that receives at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sun a day. Provide a sturdy trellis, arbor, or fence because as this vine matures it can become quite heavy. Feed in the early spring with some slow-release granular fertilizer and water whenever the soil seems dry. If severe pruning is needed do it in the winter while the vine is dormant. Otherwise, trimming the plant after the flowers fade is also fine.

Honeysuckle is not recommended for human or animal consumption.
