Hoya kerrii

Fun fact: Hoya heart is actually a rooted leaf of a vining Hoya variety. Most Hoya Hearts remain a single leaf, but a few may grow a new vine. In this case, you may see a new sprout start to poke up and out of the soil.

In either case, Hoya Heart does best in medium to bright light. It has low water needs, so you can treat it like a succulent, watering once every few weeks or as the potting mix starts to dry out. Hoya Heart doesn’t need high humidity or other special conditions—you can enjoy it in practically any bright spot and it thrives alongside cacti and succulents like Echeveria, Haworthia, and Kalanchoe.

Note: This plant may have some natural degree of toxicity and may cause discomfort or illness if ingested. Additionally, exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. Grown for ornamental purposes and not intended for human or animal consumption.
