Goeppertia roseopicta ‘Dottie’

Calathea Dottie is an outstanding selection that was discovered in 2000 in Apopka, Florida. It stands out from other varieties because of its dark, nearly black, leaves and vivid pink variegation. Note: Many species commonly called calathea have been botanically reclassified to the genus Goeppertia. Like other calathea varieties, it does best with even moisture and hates drying out and arid air.
