Hellebores have us excited! They're one of the first perennials to burst into bloom in our South-Carolina perennial fields and help us mark the start of our busy season. But there are lots of reasons for you to be excited about hellebores, too, including the fact that they're deer resistant, rabbit resistant, drought tolerant, and don't need any special care once they're established. Many are evergreen in mild-winter areas, and they thrive all the way from Maine and Minnesota down to Georgia.
